The last thing in the world, with the oil
mess in the gulf,  we need and/or want is a hurricane but the season is
coming and there are preparations that have to be made just in case.

The two pictures above are of the tree in
front of my apartment. The top one is looking from my apartment and the
second from the ground looking to it.

And
then the tree trimmers came!

They thin out the branches and cut the ones
hanging over the apartments or those that could cause damage if winds
break them off. If you look in the lower right hand corner you can see
the tree trimmer

I sort of hate to see the trees trimmed but,
then again, I get a clearer view of the water, yachts and million dollar
homes out my window!

I didn't envy the guys working on the palms
but it was fun watching them.

The trees are ready for hurricane season but I
certainly hope we don't have one!!
