Shrek Forever After 3d---a Movie Review

This is definitely NOT a movie that you have
to spend extra money to see  in 3 D and convinces me that not all
movies, in fact most, have to be presented that way. The process does
add something to a movie but not necessarily the story.

This fourth, and
if to be believed, last installment of the Shrek series goes out on a high
note even if it doesn't equal the fun of the first. The 'stars' of the
series have turned out to be The Donkey and Puss In Boots voiced by
Eddie Murphy and Antonio Banderas.
I am not a fan of the former but must admit he brings the laughs and
the latter is his character personified and deserves the coming starring
movie featured around him.

The best part of the Shek movies has always
been the digs at Walt Disney cartoons and characters not to mention all
the fairy tales and this chapter has quite a few wicked remarks
regarding, and take-offs, of the witches from The Wizard Of Oz,
Pinocchio and Rumpelstiltskin.

The basis of the story is sort of "It's A
Wonderful Life" with Shrek never have been born and what would have happen with Fiona and the rest
of the Far Far Away land  and the people and creatures that inhabit the
country.

"Shrek Forever After"
is a fitting final chapter to the Shrek series and The Donkey and Puss
In Boots characters will certainly live on in one form or another!
