Sexist? Cumudgeon? Prude? Gentleman?

In
the 1930s Rhett Butler (Clark Gable) told Scarlet O'Hara (Vivian
Leigh), "I don't give a damn!" and the world was shocked. A few months
ago a movie called "Half Ass" opened, tomorrow a new film, "Schmuck For
Dinner" and in the Fall a new network TV show called ""Shit My Dad Says"
and no says a thing.

Am
I sexist because I don't like hearing a lady curse in mixed company?
Because, just because they can, they will breast feed their baby
anywhere? Yes I know it is healthy and can be seen as beautiful but what
happened to decorum?  Do women really want to be the equal of men by
talking about penis size in front of men like men talk about women's
breasts? It wasn't too long ago that a man wouldn't curse in front of
lady but today neither sex has respect for the other.

What
has happened in a world where high school girls have contests to see
who can give the most blow jobs and yet don't count it as having sex?
Years ago when Grace Kelly and Cary Grant, in "To Catch A Thief", were
about to have sex the camera panned to a sky filled with fireworks and
just this past week I saw on screen, by established actors, a woman
having oral sex with another woman and a man and women going at it in
the nude. Did I really have to see their butts?

Recently
on an award show an actor accepting an award used the F word so many
times that the censor couldn't keep up with the bleeps and the audience
heard it a few times. Listen to all the curse words, by adults and
teenagers, you hear around you every day. When did become n acceptable
behavior? Was it just 15 years ago that sex workers kept quiet about
their work but now they all talk about it? And do we really have to see
women urinating in movies to prove they are the equal of men?

When
did it become acceptable for politicians to be ugly and nasty in their
campaigns? When did the public start going crazy for salacious gossip
and girls, yes girls, become stars for not wearing underwear, for making
sex tapes and/or for having babies out of wedlock? Ingrid Bergman had a
baby while married to another man and it became an issue in  Congress.
Today the number of actresses having babies out of wedlock, or are too
independent to marry the partners they are living with, set the examples
for our teenagers.

Yes
I know all the curse words but that doesn't mean I have to prove my
manhood by saying them. Whatever happened to kissing and NOT telling?
What happened to protecting a woman's reputation either by the man or
the women?

Whatever
happened to manners? Has a day gone by that someone hasn't been rude to
you, or you to them, whether by a store clerk, a server, the bank
teller, a phone operator or a person on a cellphone? When did you last
send a handwritten thank you card? You talk about other people's manners
but what about yours?

I am 75 years old and I still say, "Thank you", "Yes M'am",
"Yes Sir", "After you"--I may talk about my sex life but I don't name
names nor do I talk about what takes place in the bedroom. I don't like
to hear a lady curse though I know they can and I am not interested in a
round table sex discussion. Women who are drunk embarrass me. Women
will say men act like dogs, pigs and, yet, more and more women are
showing their equal of men by acting that way also. I admire strong
women, women who go after what/who they want and yet are ladies to their
toes. I treat people with respect until they disrespect me. I believe
in having class when dealing with the opposite sex and I believe in the
opposite being better than men by having class.

Does all the above make me a Sexist? A Curmudeon? A Prude? Or a Gentleman?
