The Scar!

Since I am sharing
everything with you here is a picture of the scar--right now I keep the
shirt buttoned up to the neck in restaurants!!! LOL

One of my problems is NOT judging my
energy output--what I feel  I am doing as 'normal' is obviously too
much as I 'collapse' in the afternoon all tired out.

Jill, Gino and I went out for lunch this afternoon before Gino took me to the Diagnostic Center for 2 CTs and x-rays--I hate to admit it but I have gone from being a patient
patient to being an impatient one, especially when it comes to tests
where I have o lay on my back and 'not move'--after that we stopped at
Circuit City and Best Buy to look at TVs--I think I told you I had
busted (dropped) mine before I went into the hospital and I have
borrowed Gino's--I did call the IRS and after 49 minutes on hold I
talked to a real, live person who said my stimulus check would be
mailed out Friday, August 15--keep your fingers crossed--right now I am
looking at flat TVs with 19" screens which are going for under
$300--Gino is trying to egt me to hold off for awhile and get a bigger screen since I do enjoy
watching TV but, like a kid, I want it NOW!!! Besides I have to keep putiing money aside for "A Chorus Line".

Keep
your fingers crossed for me--I go to the urologist on Thursday and I
would really be pleasaed if he says the Foley6 bag comes off!!!!

Scars like that usually fade a bit and appear to shrink over time. But, in all honesty, it doesn't really look that bad at all.

Quite frankly, you have never looked better! All that smoking and you heal so quickly! don't seem fair somehow! But I'm pleased and impressed... what an amazing thing is a living organism to repair itself so well.

Best of luck with the urologist! I bet that would relaly help your outlook.
I can understand why you are so frustrated with tiring easily because you are a really active person ... more active than me most of the time. That will get better as you heal and your body has to devote less energy to that process and can give it to the things you like to do more!
Always thinking of you!
