Sawgrass Mills Outlet Mall for a Movie!

The last time I was to the Sawgrass Mill Outlet Mall was in the year
2000, when celebrating my 'sweet 16 Leap Year birthday' we had lunch at the
Cheesecake Factory. It has, since then, doubled in size!!

The Sawgrass Mills Outlet Mall is Florida's largest retail & entertainment center. It features more than
350 name-brand stores, well-known restaurants, a cinema, and entertainment
venues.

As "Every Little Step" was only playing in two
theatres and one was in Boca Raton I decided to go to the Regal Theatre
at the mall to see it. It was a 33.4 mile round trip and took me almost an hour
to get there with all the stop lights and trains!!!

I, vaguely, remember that the name stores were
suppose to be cheaper on items than their home stores but after pricing DVD?VHS
player/recorders at Brandsmart USA and
a Super Target I can tell you that this is not true.

I can honestly say that I have not seen so many
different food chains and food courts and restaurants in one area as there are
at this mall--a food lover's Paradise!! By the way I would say 95% of the people
walking in and out of the mall were eating/latte anything from pretzels to ice
cream to pizza, hot dogs  and lattes, iced tea and sodas but carrying very few
packages.

There were a lot of people at the mall and the
parking lots were quite full but it looks like the restaurants--waiting lines at
The Cheesecake Factory and The Rainforest just to mention two and all the
food court places--and the movies were the only ones actually doing business
excluding the carousel!! and 'bungee' jump.

The drive was interesting
as I hadn't been that far west in a long time and it is amazing (and depressing)
to see how built up it has become near the Everglades but every now and then
there is that spot of beauty!!
