I feel ripped off when a movie theatre puts DVD in a
machine and shows it as a 'movie--especially when the DVD is a poor
edition with fuzzy camera work and a muddled sound track.
Along with this I was/am having a VERY high anxiety day so I don't know how fair/true my review will be.
The acting is good with Judith Light doing a standout job and looking as plain in this movie as she looks glamorous on Ugly Betty.
She and Stephen Loang run an organization to 'change' gays and help addicts of all types. Into their world comes Mark forced there by his brother. Mark is a drug and sex addict who doesn't want to be
at the place but quicker than a wink he has adjusted to life there as
asexual and drug free. Also there is Scot an amiable, hunky guy. Guess
what happens folks? Oh you've seen the picture already have you? No?
That's okay because you are right.
Along the way Light exposes her secret, one of the guys tries to commit
suicide (no, not Mark or Scott but someone who believes their love is
right) and other non-surprises! I did have my own thoughts about
Stephen Loang but that's how my mind works!
Bottom line--though I think a few people will like this film I do not recommend it.
Apparently, MyBloggers is sharing some of your distress! This page is all gafoogally.
