knew with Alfredo and Michael coming down plus going to see "A Chorus
Line" two times and, hoping to get in a third performance, plus other
expenses I would be spending more than usual, easily going over my
weekly allotment.
Dolores came to clean my apartment today--an
extra day because I wanted to get the place at least half way decent
for the guys--and, as usual, I wanted to get out of her way so I
decided to go to the movies. I knew Allen wasn't keen on seeing "The
Curious Case Of Benjamin Button"--actually I wasn't either--and it was
a choice of seeing that or "Defiance"--I decided on the former (see my
review in previous blog) but without access to a car it meant calling
TOPS for transportation. I had a choice of where to see the film and
chose to go downtown to Riverfront. I knew with TOPS I would get there
early enough to have lunch at the Palm Grill before going to the movie.
I had my camera and took a bunch of pictures as sort of a preview for Fredo and Mike.

And that's how one goes over budget!!!
