1:30 and as soon as I stepped out of the building the skies opened up
and we had real messy weather with heavy rains and wild winds until 4
PM!!
For some reason I noticed how far the tree in my backyard
had come back since Katrina. If I think of it I will have to take a
picture of the same angle tomorrow.

I
didn't think I could do it as they are constantly in flight but after a
couple of tries I was able to get all 7 finches on the same perch!!
(See the third picture--in the first two there is one on the ground.)
I
am going to have to come up with a name for the ring neck dove who
'visits' me everyday around 6:30 when he knows I am putting bird food
on the ledge--coming out the door there he is on the railing waiting
patiently--as soon as I scatter the food on the ledge he is there--others come a few minutes later but they won't let me take their pictures! :O)
And don't want to neglect the others or they might attack me!!
