It
started out as a beautiful weekend with a sunny but cool, crisp day
with temperatures in the mid-70s and by Saturday the afternoon temps were in the low 70 and Saturday/Sunday morning it hit 51 degrees! This
afternoon was again cool and crisp though it did get cloudy late
afternoon and it is now in the 60s heading towards 56 but by tomorrow it
will be 79 degrees and we will be back in the 80s on Tuesday. Now
remember that for South Florida this is cold weather so no searing
looking at Norman bundled up!

came across a couple of quotes the last few days of which two have 
stuck with me. The first is from the new book, "You're Old, I'm Old--Get
Use To It!" and goes: "Grandchildren are the reward for not killing
your children." The second one is one that I will adopt/adapt for myself
because it dies apply to/for me. Tennessee Williams, the writer, said
of Eli Wallach, the actor, "Eli has discovered the secret of pissing people off. He's happy."

I
got my new camera on Friday and have been 'playing' with it ever
since--have a lot to learn about how it works--I may even read the
manual!! LOL I will say
though that Kodak does have an excellent Internet support site with live
chats when you have questions and I really haven't abused it--so far!

Only 9 days to go and I will be in the Broward Performing Arts Center orchestra watching the dancers in "Burn The
