I
think it is time for Politician's Amnesty Day--let's see there aren't
any 'special Days' in August so let's say the 3rd Wednesday (Hump Day)
of the month.
On their special Day every politician whoever committed adultry
or is in the closet or lied or cheated or stole or didn't follow
through on their campaign promises or took a bribe would get up in
front of the network cameras and say what they are guilty of doing.
They will not be penalized, persecuted,
taken out of office nor will their illegal activity be referred to in
any other campaigns by any other politician and their wives, mates.
partners and families will give them complete forgiveness as will
voters.
Of course there may be so many who have to confess that it may take more than 24 hours but the networks will extend their broadcasts and all companies tat ever lobbied a politician will pay the bill by advertising on the station.
Can anyone see a downside to this? Any party that wouldn't agree to do this? Any politician who WOULDN'T have to appear on the networks?
