I wonder when the movie depicting the war
crimes of the U.S.A. and its allies will be made. These propaganda, feel-good,
our boys are protecting the world from terrorism crap movies merely perpetuate
the myth that our people are better than the rest, when they are exactly the
same; just as cruel, just as much mad killers as any other nation. The
Australians and British and Americans in Iraq and Afghanistan are terrorists,
pure and simple, looking after the commercial interests of their own country’s
multinational companies. It is astonishing that for the last century Americans
have been willing to send their young men to other countries to kill, maim and
torture and be killed and horribly wounded, for no reason whatever except to
preserve the markets and profitability of giant corporations that do not benefit
ordinary people at all. Indeed, as the present down-turn proves, those that have
sacrificed themselves and their children are the first to suffer the loss of
jobs, houses and lifestyle. At least the British and other Europeans slam their
governments for getting into such terrorist activities, but the Americans seem
to have a death wish and never complain about being educated to become cannon
fodder for someone else’s benefit. Google atrocities in Vietnam war and see
exactly how bad the allies were. Orders to shoot to kill anything that moves.
Rape every woman before executing every villager. Use two boys fishing in a
canoe as target practise... drag peasants through the rice stubble behind a jeep
till the skin is all flayed from their bodies. take young men up in helicopters
then throw them out for fun...........
The truth about the wars the U.S.A. and its
allies have taken part in is horrendous, and it is time to stop the crap
propaganda making heroes of terrorists simply because they are ‘our boys’.
Sorry to be such a wet blanket. Good
review, as always.
