Anyone
reading my blogs know that along with writing a post each day as a
diary I supplement them with lots of pictures. Just looking at a picture
opens a door to memories which is what a diary is---writing or
photographs that tells the story. I have made a book of my life in
pictures  missing 2-3 years out of 75. Oh, yes, I do, occasionally, take
pictures of other people!

Talking
about 'other' people here is Allen after a morning of bowling. Being
fair skinned his face is all red from being out at the pool the day
before.

A
few years ago, in my attempt to get rid of 'things', I sold over 1,000
Playbills, from various shows I had seen over the years, on eBay. Now it
looks like I am starting a new collection with my new job reviewing
shows for www.corinescorner--so
far the shows hanging up on the wall are: "Mel Brooks Young
Frankenstein the Musical", "Rain: A Tribute to the Beatles" and "Dreamgirls" and "Burn the Floor" coming up.

This
is the Slice Pizza Restaurant where Allen and I had lunch last
Wednesday with a restaurant.com gift certificate. Luckily I have this
picture because I know I won't see this place again!

Before going to see "Rain" in Miami, Allen and I went to Miami Beach to have a bite to eat at Balan's on Lincoln Road. Even though i spent a large chunk of my twenties there
it certainly has changed in 50 years. Well, I guess I have, too,

Okay,
I cannot tell a lie. When I got the new job I had to go out and buy a
jacket as I don't/won't go to the theatre in a short sleeved shirt,
shorts and flip-flop. I must admit it felt good getting dressed up, as
long as it doesn't happen too often, and, of course, I had a good excuse
to get some new shirts and the consignment shop made some extra
money in this economy--just doing my bit to help. Actually the jacket, a
Ralph Lauren, and the shirts were a very good buy, not to mention that I
look good in them!
