gave me to put in my eyes. Each time I did I got a VERY runny nose. The
days I didn't use the ointment no runny nose. I called the doctor today
and told him what was happening and he said it sounded like I was doing
it wrong. After he explained it to me I told I would need three hands
and he said that's why people get married, have lovers, partners,
room-mates, etc.!
Okay,
let me see if I can explain it the way he explained it to me. I use my
left index finger on my bottom lid of my left eye to make a cup. I then
put the ointment in the eye with my right hand BUT at the same time I have to pinch my nostrils at top so the ointment wouldn't melt down into my sinuses---ummmmm, I have two hands and I need a third!! Guess I'll have to go out and find a 'volunteer'!!!
Optimist
that I am I really expected to hear from Anne or Claire regarding my
shingles vaccine as they led me to believe I would and that everything
had been straightened out but I am still waiting!
I
am watching "Boy Interrupted" on HBO which is a true story about a 15
year old boy called Evan who commits suicide--needless to say it is
very touching and, at the same time, very hard to watch. He was
diagnosed with depression and put on Prozac and yet he wasn't helped. From the many films taken of him he looks
affectionate, loving, fun who cared for his baby brother and family but
still talked about suicide from an early age being explicit to his
parents how he would kill himself and how helpless they felt.
Ending
on a more positive note Emily, Paige, Katherine and Ena joined me,
Caroline, Dot, John, Larry and Jerry on the breezeway this evening. We
won't mention that John didn't expect so many and only brought 4
strawberry pop tarts!!! LOL
