I
had to attend the General Assembly meeting as Lisa said she was holding
it later than usual--11 AM instead of 10 PM--so that I didn't have the
excuse it was held too early. In the 10 years I have been living here
this is the third one I went to. It wouldhave been interesting if one
of the woman didn't raise her hand every few minutes to ask a stupid
question (yes, there are stupid questions) or make a stupid remark.

One of the things discussed was the possibility of there being bbq grills put all around the Gateway property but whoever used it would ahve to clean it and when you are dealing with over 300 people you know that will be a problem.

There
was also talk about changes being made because HUD rules and insists on
them. I couldn't stay for the whole meeting as I had to be at the
exercise class.

I
have been going to the exercise class on the breezeway for a few months
now. It is held every Tuesday from 11:30 AM to Noon, mainly balancing
exercises. They have now added a Thursday 1/2 hour, same time, only
being held in the pool!

After that I had to go to the post office to send a certified letter to the transportation department to get my TOPS re-certification. I forgot it was the first day of the mail raises and the place was jammed.

Then
it was time to get to the movie theatre to see "Valentino: The Last
Emperor" and if you read my review blog yesterday you know what a
surprise that was.

The surprises had only started as two were to come in the mail--see the next post!!!
