With
the wind chill factored in it will be in the low 50s today and though
it may be warmish in the sun I'm not going out today except to throw
out the garbage and get the mail--I doubt very much if anyone will be
on the breezeway this evening.
In any case it is a good excuse to get some of my to-do lists done such as:
1) Google Ginny Pozos and see if her book is still available--Ginny was a very, good. close
friend of mine who died a couple of years ago--she was a professional
caregiver who wrote an excellent book about the subject--a funny,
delightful Irish woman.
2) With Michael and Alfredo coming
down: clean out fridge, call Dolores and see if she can come again next
Tuesday to clean--hey, the guys may think I do keep a clean place--wipe
the poop of the birds off the computer monitor and other places they
like to perch (and poop!!)--make up enough bird food (corn, brown rice,
pellets, seed, peas) so I won't have to do it when they are here
3) Check out what all the fuss is regarding twitter.com and do a little more research on all the changes at blog sites and facepage or whatever it is called
4) Post a few blogs and check out a batch and comment
5) Arrange round trip ride for Monday to go to dermatologist and make list of what I want him to look at.
6) Get ecards ready for birthdays--ummm, figure out how I can send Kota an ecard--maybe via Mary's mybloggers account???
And that's just one to-do list!!!
Guess I'll turn the heat on for birds--wonder if it works in living room!
Today’s forecast calls for sunny skies with highs in the upper
50s and low 60s. It also should be windy, with gusts up to 20 mph.
This evening, temperatures are forecast to drop into the low to mid 40s. But
at least the winds should die down a bit.
