I checked my e-mail and then relaxed and read the
paper, very leisurely. I wasn't in a hurry to do a thing. Eventually I shaved
and then walked down to check and see how Larry was faring.

I spotted the Goodyear blimp and by the time I got
back to my place and took a picture it was just a spot in the distance.

What did I do after cleaning the budgie's cage? Oh,
yes, I took a nap!!

Picked up my mail and then came on the Internet to
check out a few blogs and answer some more e-mail. Yep, life is rough when you
are retired.

The afternoon temperature hit 80 and there was a
cool breeze keeping the humidity down. Everything was going along smoothly.

At around 5 PM I went out to the breezeway and there
were a few more people than usual. Lou, Dot, Larry, Harlen, Barbara, Kathleen,
Vinnie and I sat around for an hour talking about all kinds of subjects,
deciding what is wrong with the world and how we could solve it!

Came home, took a shower, turned the clocks ahead
and made dinner--eating light tonight as Gino is taking me out to Tropics for
brunch to celebrate my unbirthday and I plan to do a lot of eating!

Nothing planned for the rest of the evening except
to read Entertainment Weekly and watch some TV. Later this evening, with the
weather as nice as it is, I will probably take a walk around the grounds and
spend some time on the Point, just sitting under the stars and clear sky.

Yes, just a nice, easy going, sunny Saturday to be
enjoyed and I did!
