It
was requested that unwrapped toys be brought to be used as gifts for
the children who are in the hospital--the Florida Medical Center--so I
brought 2 teddy bears.

The toys for the kids table.

Upon
entering you were given a blue numbered ticket for a raffle
drawing--among the many prizes was the small, silver bag on the far
left which I won!! It was a gift card for Publix, our local supermarket.

The
lunch itself was pretty healthy--well maybe not the two pieces of
pumpkin pie and one piece of sweet potato pie I added!!! Served buffet
style it consisted of:

breast
of chicken in a mild sauce, yellow rice, mixed vegetables, salad with a
light Italian dressing, rolls, pie and assorted beverages plus you
could make as many trips as you liked.
Most people were on their good behavior making only one trip but I did see a few (including me and Allen) hitting the pie station a couple of times!!!
All in all a pleasant luncheon. I will be going to their meeting in January and might also try the other chapter.
