My Medicines Made/make Me Fat! :O)

(Some of my 'fat' pictures from the 60s)
and, yes, I am obsessed by, and with, my weight!!
On
January 3, 2008 I weighed 186 and by the time I had my operation on
July 21 I weighed 192.5--now 5 months later I am up to 196 and fighting
NOT to reach 200 by the end of the year!!!
I
could blame my aorta valve or I could blame the operation or I could
blame the anxiety attacks and I know I could blame some of the
medicines I have been/am taking as a few have side affects of gaining
weight--could even blame the Lexapro even though I haven't taken it but it is sitting in my cabinet!!!

The one thing I won't blame are the many 1/2 gallons of ice cream, all the cakes, cookies and pies I have eaten this past year, especially the past 4 months!! It's a good thing I watch my intake most of the time and cut way back when I go overboard it is time to get serious again.
I would like to get back to the 180-184 range and so I will by fighting the good fight AGAIN!
Just so you know--the reason I take and post so many pictures of myself is that it is a way of keeping an 'eye' on my weight--if a month or two goes by without my posting any self
portraits you will know I am in trouble! (Not that being fat ever
stopped me from taking my picture! LOL)

(Taken this past week with the shirt outside to cover the extra pounds at 196 :O))

at 182 pounds--just have to lose 14 pounds and I will!

You will get there again. Weight variation is common after your procedure because you have had a lot of lifestyle changes forced on you. Once you get everything back to normal, it will stabilize back to where you want it.
