It's All About Me! Me! Me! Duh! Lol

It seems every once in awhile I have to explain why I blog.
Everyone blogs for their own reasons whether it be to get ideas across,
to get hostility out that they don't want to show to those they live
with or to share what they are doing, learning, know, have experienced
or to show pictures or tell about the books they read, movies they see, their religion, politics, practice their writing skills and that's only to mention a few reasons.

I
have mentioned before that I was given a diary and camera when I was
around 10, 11 years old and was told to keep a record of my life which I
proceeded to do and, with the exception of some teen years, have done
for the past 60-61 years. Between packing to leave Memphis and arriving
in Fort Lauderdale I 'lost', though I think I know where they went, 3 important years in mi life record.

Originally
I had one book per year until I finally got smart and bought notebooks
in which I could keep records for at least 10 years. Everything about my
life is/was in those books: where I worked, how much I made, as a
waiter how many were on the floor, the weather, how many people/parties I
waited on--when I was lecturing and being interviewed for Weight
Watchers and Our Weigh I kept count of how many people were involved,
what I wore--my sex life is there in detail regarding when, who, where,
what happened and other details

I
was able to write a nonfiction book following a love story from the
first minute of contact to the last day through diaries and pictures. I
have a record of every movie I saw, every play I attended, nightclub
performers and concerts I attended and a history of the best in all
those fields from the 40s to today. I have records of where I have
eaten, what I ate and who I ate with not to forget parties I went to
those I gave.

I
have pictures of myself as a kid, as a marine, with long hair, short
hair, in a tux, wearing shorts, weighing close to 300 pounds and
weighing 167 pounds for 2 minutes. In my photo albums are pictures of
friends, lovers, tricks, cars, places I have lived not to forget things I
have seen.

I
was never 'in the closet' but if I was I would have been pushed out by
the diaries and photo albums--then my discovery of blogs happened and I
could continue recording my life in writings and pictures. I have never
talked about about my actual sex life because I don't/didn't think that
belonged in a public forum so I have kept that in a private, well as
private as anything on a computer, section.

Yes,
I love for people to read my posts and, even more, I love their
comments but I don't understand those who complain that all I do is
write about my life and yet continue to read these posts or those who
think they are 'affecting' me by being  negative about what I wrote. The
only conclusion I can come to is that they are masochists who like
doing they don't like to do! Just a note to those people--keep reading
my blog because it will always be about ME!  ME!  ME! And, even though
you won't admit, you really love me or you would ignore me.

To those of you who read my posts I want you to know I really appreciate it and to those who comment a special hug.

I would like to remind you that I am doing a special series on music from Broadway under the username songanddanceman and a series on great gay authors under that username, greatgayauthor, on blogster and under GreatMartin at mybloggers.
