paper and there in the Bay was this little red boat--wonder if Santa snuck in
during the night? Looks like it just might be big enough for two!!!
Well while the government is giving me a 5.8% raise in my Social Security
starting January 1 it looks like everyone is chipping away at it.
Dolores, who cleans my place is going up 25%--I told her I might have to cut
back to once a month instead of every other week. I know, I know, I could do it
but I hate house work of any kind and I suck at it!!!
It, also, seems like the laundromat where I take my wash is eliminating
coupons which means the wash, dry and fold will go from 60 cents a pound to 90
cents a pound and they are going up in price, an additional 29 cents, on
cleaning of shirts.
And then, adding insult to injury, our State lottery is going to add the
power ball which will probably mean another dollar or two a week.
How long did it take for them to recognize that we were in a recession?? I
wonder how long before they will acknowledge that inflation has it???
Exercise class cancelled tomorrow--they have a luncheon!!!! LOL
In any case, I LOVE this picture Allen took of me yesterday at the Mended
Hearts luncheon--might make it my avatar!!!
