I love going to my primary physician as he is next door to an
excellent deli and AFTER I see the doc (and weigh in) I usually go there and
have a sandwich.
Well today it was a double header--my first visit to the
psychologist and then the primary--and the deli is right in the middle of the
both.
Won't go too much into the first psychologist visit as it was
mainly talk about why I was there--strangely enough I had an anxiety attack
waiting to see him!!! :O) He did discuss the physiology (did I get that right?)
about the operation and how I am reacting. He, also, said depression is a
natural state of affairs after such surgery but doctors still don't understand
the whys, wherefores and what can be done. In any case since I did make
appointments for the 3 Thursdays as the bus will still be running and it lets me
off right at the corner.
After that I went to they primary who remarked that I seemed to
be gaining some weight which was good (to him, not me!!) and he changed the
tranquillizer prescription to 1 mg during the day and 1 mg at night--it will be
the same amount I have been taking but instead of 2 pills of .05 at night and
1/2 in morning and 1/2 in afternoon just the 2 pill a day---hopefully the
afternoon dosage won't put me to sleep watching the movie tomorrow!!! (Or maybe
I'll wait till after--will see how anxiety works.)
In any case I left the doc's office and went to the deli--tried
to open the door but couldn't--THEY WERE CLOSED BECAUSE IT IS YOM KIPPUR!!!!!
Wait until next Thursday!!!!!!
By the way, did I mention that I lost a $400Â Play4 by 1 number!!!!
