I
had to get up at 7:30 AM so that I could take Allen to the airport at 9
AM. Driving to0 the airport I noticed many, too many, people out, awake
and doing things before Noon!!! Why???
Okay,
I am not a morning person but who knew there were so many of that
species?! Some day, hopefully soon, the world will get on my schedule:
up at 11 AM, leave the house at 1 PM to do whatever you want/have to do
and go to sleep at 2-3 AM. Do you realize that you can party, get sleep
and still put in a good days work or play?
After I dropped Allen off I went to Publix to get the shingle vaccine. I didn't know I would have to pick up the
vaccine and take it to my doctor who would inject me with it. Surprise!
Surprise! My insurance will pay for the vaccine only if I
bought it at a certain drugstore in Plantation which is a long drive
from where I live and a long drive to my doctor. Why they wouldn't
cover the Publix prescription I don't know except to say they are morning people and you know how they are!!!
I did some food shopping at Publix and then went to Winn Dixie to get other items. After that I stopped
and picked up my laundry and was home before 11:30 just in time to get
back to my regular routine of uncovering the birds, feeding them ad
changing their water, answering some e-mail and reading some blogs.
By 1 PM I had finished reading the paper and, since it was Thursday,
ready to do my weekly food shopping. Oh, wait!! I already did that.
Instead
of going to the pool at 2:30 I was there at 1 :30. My whole day was
thrown off. Worse than that I had dinner at 6:30 PM instead of 8. What
was I going to do the rest of the evening? Here I am fighting to keep
my eyes open until 1-2 AM so I can get back into my routine--being a night person like a normal should be!
How do you people handle schedules, life, being a morning person?!?!?
