John picked me up at Noon and we went over to his
place where he has been busy redoing the bushes and hedges around his house. He
wanted to plant some shade trees to bring his a/c bill down and he wanted me to
take some pictures of the change.

After that we went to the Victoria Diner to have a
light bite before going to the movies--actually a two and a half hour movie.

We got out a little after
four and John took me home where I posted my review on "Inglorious Basterds", got caught up on some blogs, comments and e-mails, let the birds
out of their cages, took a shower and got ready for Gino to pick me up. During
that time I got an e-mail from Norman that I wouldn't be able to borrow his car
on Thursday so I had/have to scramble around to see if I could get a ride. I
promise that when I win the lotto or powerball or fantasy 5 the first thing I do
is buy a car!!

Gino came by and I took
him out for dinner to celebrate his birthday letting him choose between 5-6 restaurants and he chose
Tasty Thai as he had never been there. He had the Pad Thai with shrimp and
chicken while I had the stir fry in lobster sauce with chicken and shrimp. I
drank water and he had an iced Thai tea that looks like a rum drink but is
actually non-alcoholic.

His birthday is September first but, for whatever
reason, the date on his license is September 2 so we will celebrate his birthday
again with John taking him out and Allen and I joining them.

With Allen coming down to
take me on my errands and then going out for dinner it looks like another busy
day tomorrow!  LOL
