you spend an
afternoon in the air conditioned Broward Convention Center going first to the Franchise Expo and then the Home
Design and remodeling Show. Allen is into floors and doors not to forget
showing interest in an Uncle Louie G Italian Ices and Ice Cream
Franchise. I was interested in all the chocolate, and various candy,
samples they give away plus the donut holes! I, also, get my pens, memo
pads and postits supplies for the year. Of course you can enter contests
to win vacation, TVs, Jacuzzis and other items so they can get your
name, phone number and e-mail address to bombard you for the rest of the
year.

I took many
pictures from the front of the convention center to the parking lot of
the Quarterdeck where we went for a 'bite'--huge plates of Jambalaya
with garlic bread--where we seem to ahve been going a lot lately. Well the food is good, consistent and they
have many 'specials'. All in all a good, tiring afternoon!

These are
just a 'few' of the pictures I took but it gives you a good idea of how
we spent our afternoon and then it was off to teh Quarterdeck and this is a
picture from their front parking lot  looking across the street at
another old, classic restaurant in Fort Lauderdale , The South Port Raw
Bar--that is a mural on the right.
