Went
to the urologist today and received the good news that I don't have to
see him for another 3 months--I actually have NO doctor appointments
for the next 2 weeks except for the optomologist and I suppose he will bring up cataracts
as he did last year but I am not getting into that right now--I'm going
to give the body a nice rest until/before I get into vascular surgery
on my legs, dental surgery (have a VERY loose tooth on bottom), etc.
I
came home to find that my stimulus check has finally arrived and I am
NOT running out to spend it--have to rebuild my "A Chorus Line" ticket
fund plus I have to buy a new TV---hopefully I can/will win a Play4 but
if not I'll wait until I build up some more capitol--WOW!!! ME THINKING
OF SAVING MONEY?!?!? Ummm--wonder if the heart surgeon did something to my brain?!?
Yes,
we escaped Fay--had a few heavy windy and rainy moments--but, of
course, news and weather casters played it up big time as if the world
was coming to an end which makes it harder for people to listen to them
when the next storm comes along--sure we need to be prepared just in
case but there has to be less sensationlism in their reports. We do
need the rain--now we will probably have flooding!!!

Martin, this is very good news!! It's nice to hear that you're doing so well... It's also good to hear that the hurricane is not going to do any damage! Great to hear about ANOTHER GOOD DAY IN THE LIFE OF MARTIN!!
