Allen's car--a white Dodge Avenger
I don't have to depend on someone else, or worry that they may need it
or might not bring it back in time when I need it--don't get me
wrong--I appreciate that Cookie is allowing me to use her car but then
something like today happens. I used her car this afternoon and now it
is stuck after I tried for 3 hours to get it started but no luck. I had
to leave it there and it looks like it might be a problem tomorrow,
consequently will have to change appointments and errands around. Just
hope I can get ity started and back to Gateway without having to tow it! :O)
I
went to the movies this afternoon and all I can think of is, "If you
can't say something nice don't say anything at all". I believe this is
the first time I won't say anything about a movie except I had a gut
feeling I was wasting my time going to see the sophmoric "The Hangover"
and it was a waste of time!
John,
a new resident at Gateway, was nice enough to give me a 10" TV with a
converter box and then even set it up for me while I was taking Allen
to the airport.
Having Allen's car I
have set up about 8-10 doctor's visits, mainly specialists, which fits
in with my seeing them only every 6 months instead of the every 3-4
months they want to see me, including my heart doctor who hasn't done
any tests for a year.
On
Thursday I am going for a MRI but this one is different. I can't handle
laying down and really have anxiety attacks when I have to have one.
The last time I had one done the doctor gave me aValium and that was an open MRI!! This time I will be having it done in an open STAND UP MRI. There are only two in Broward County and the practitioner who gives the tests only works in the evening and I got the first PM appointment at 6 PM!
It will be strange with it being Wednesday and not having lunch with Allen!
