Allen and I went to Gator's for lunch this afternoon--they were running a special of buying one lunch and 2 beverages and get 2nd lunch for half off. We both had the Jambalaya on rice special ($9.99 each) which was tasty though a little on the dry side but loaded with sausage, chicken, pork, sausage and shrimp. No bread was served which was a mistake. Of cours the two beverages--the prices--were ridiculous and more than made up for the 50% off! LOL Allen's soda and my coffee were both over $3 each!!!

It was a pleasant restuarant, the food was good and tasty, the service was fine but it isn't a restaurant that either Allen or I would return to--it wasn't a standout--in spite of the decor and menu it was just another place to eat.
