The
Gateway theatre is our local movie house. It started out as a one
screen theatre and about 20 years ago converted to a 4 screen movie
house.
I see about 90% of all the movies I see all year long here. They show gay themed movies that no other theatre shows along with all the independent, quirky, foreign and block busters. Right now they are the ONLY movie house in Broward County showing "Milk".
They,
also, have a comment board where everyone can leave any comments about
the films they have just seen. Though they have been part of a chain of
theatres the past few years they still keep theirIndependence and, I for one, support them by going to see any movie there I can. (Plus they have a coupon on their web site www.sunrisecinemas.com which takes a dollar plus off admission!)
On Christmas Day they will be opening "Doubt" and "Valkyrie" with "Revolutionary Road" and Ciao" opening in January.
