The picture above is just to remind me that I am to have a tooth pulled on Monday which means I have to stop my warfarin tomorrow which does open me to the possibility of a clot forming and raising havoc but that's another story!
The
good news is that I have not had a cigarette since July 21, 2008--that
was 218 days, 7 months ago--I still find myself reaching for one but
that's over in a second!

It's not all good news this month--I have put on 7 pounds--after a couple of weeks of being off tranquillizers I went back on them this week as I have had a hard time sleeping--it's only a 1/4 of a milligram but I don't want to take any!!
I have also had a hard time with my breathing--sometimes labored--hard to catch my breath even when I am not doing anything or it is slow. I do go to the pulmonary doctor in a couple of weeks so maybe I will get some answers there.
Some
people feel it may be the weather as we have been having many cool/cold
dry spells this winter and they, too, have had a hard time with their
breathing.

Not
looking forward to it but I am back to making the rounds of doctors in
March--as I mentioned I am having a tooth pulled on Monday--then next
Thursday it is to my primary for blood tests and my NET for a check on
my ears and throat. On the 16th it is the lung doctor who I hope will
have some answers regarding my breathing and not more prescriptions!!!

Eyes are still bothering me--red, itchy and gritty--but I don't go to the ophthalmologist until the 9th of April.
I
know it is probably due to the medicines I am taking but I don't
believe how dry my mouth and throat gets all times of the day an
night--even when I am sleeping I wake up having to 'wet my whistle'!
Hopefully now that I am back into my routine I will be able to stop the tranquillizers and I will get some good sleeping nights.
Looking forward to another month--the 9th--since my operation and more improvement!!!
