Every
evening whether windy, snowing, rain, sleet, cold, hot, high humidity or
whatever weather I, generally, take a walk down to the Point every hour or
so--Also, most evenings I spend from around 5-6 PM on the breezeway usually with
Dot, Carmen, once in awhile Lou, Larry Barbara and/or Liz.
When I take my walks (no, I'm not a peeping Tom) I will look into Carmen's
window--she is on the second floor--as I can see the cage with the birds in it
that I gave her. I always kid her the next day about what time she went to sleep
or how late she stayed up. Last night I saw her near the birdcage and I took a
few pebbles and tossed them up at her window--she ignored me!!! I told her about
it tonight and said that I was going to tell the world how she rejected me!! She
claims she was busy talking to the birds and didn't hear the pebbles. Well, I
told her I wouldn't throw pebbles at her window anymore! Hey, you got to have
fun when and where you can! LOL
Got my social security notice yesterday about my 5.8% raise--between that and
the money I am saving by not smoking I may be able to retire soon!! Where is all
THAT money I am saving?!?!
A real positive note--I am beginning to sleep longer in the morning and
getting back to my old sleeping routine though I still am unable to read in bed
before going to sleep--strange, but I am unable to explain it. Also, within 3
weeks I have cut back from 2 mgs of lorazapem to 1--hopefully I will be off
tranquillizers by the first of the year or soon after that.
It being Wednesday Allen and I went out to lunch--we went to Mo's
Southwestern Grill for which I had a 2-4-1 coupon--he had a chicken quesadillia
and I had a chicken burrito--we both had chips and dips and, of course, a diet
soda. After that, I having another 2-4-1 coupon, we went to the Coldstone
Creamery and each had a Like it create your own sundae---not a bad
lunch!!
