Just a question---can a marriage based on a
lie be love? Not a white lie but a big lie--say a man not telling his
wife he is gay until after they have been married a few years--do you
think it will/ can survive that deception???
The seedlings keep growing and blooming. Just
seeing Mother Nature at work when I walk out to the balcony starts my day
off with a smile.
Allen and I spent
this afternoon at the Bonnet House--a 35 acre paradise in the middle of
the Fort Lauderdale Beach--which I'll write more about tomorrow. I did get my bridge fixed
yesterday and afterwards we went to Cheddar's for lunch, which in my
opinion, is one of the best food franchises--the food is good, the
portions are more than enough, the price is right and the service right
on--I always look forward to eating there.
I read two blogs today that had me laughing
out loud--and neither was intentionally funny!! I, also, read another blog by a ranting, raving, not
quite all there christian who, of course, is always right and everyone
else is wrong, even other christians!
And on one of the blog sites a 'poor little me' poster is back after being quiet for awhile
throwing around all the old stuff and wanting to start trouble again. I
LOVE the world of blogs,
especially the crazy ones!!
One of the
smartest things I ever got from therapy in 1972 was to get rid of and
ignore any negative people in my life and who try to get in my life. I
learned to dismiss and/or ignore them and not let them contaminate my life as
negative people can do. It was, and is, a valuable lesson.
I've been hearing
about Barbara Walter's upcoming valve operation--I don't know--I had
that done on July 21, 2008 and didn't make the news!! In any case good
luck Barbara and I hope your doctor warns you about the after effects
which hopefully are just temporary as they were in my case.
And now back to reading a few blogs and
having a few laughs--intentional or not!
