Our first stop was at the Pantry of Broward where I picked
up my '50 pounds' of food monthly carton which included, besides meat,
veggies, soups, noodles, etc., fudge chocolate chip cookies (sugar
free, of course), Brach's peanut clusters covered with chocolate, Werther's caramel chocolates, Ritz bits peanut butter on crackers sandwiches
and two fiber one strawberry toasts, 4 carrot nut muffins and party
size guava pastries.  Looks like someone (ME!) will be doing some good
eating the next few days!

After that it was to the bank to pick up some cash then on to CVS to get my prescriptions followed by a stop at 7/11 so I could pick up my winning power ball and lotto tickets for tonight.

Next
stop Office Depot as I needed to buy a black and color ink cartridge to
do some printing. It is almost cheaper to buy a new printer!

Time for lunch so we went to Miller's Ale House where they were having a 'buy 1 burger get the second
free'. They have a varied menu, fair prices, some good specials (a
Prime Rib dinner for $10.95 on Tuesdays and Thursdays) and decent sized

After
lunch we stopped at AT & T so Allen could get a new phone as his is
3-4 years old and he was having problems with it. It was a quick and
easy transaction with a veryknowledgeable clerk who gave Allen the kind of phone he wanted without going into a hard sell.

By
this time it was 4 PM and Ron had to meet a friend at George's Alibi
who was celebrating his taking the real estate exam and time for me to
get home to get ready to go to the breezeway for some evening
conversation.

The hardest part of the day??? Getting in and out of the car 16 times!!!  Who said life and/or retirement was easy?!?!?!  LOL
