around for 5 minutes as if they had to keep moving to be warm.

Don't know what the high temperature was today but I doubted it
even reached the 60s. It is suppose to warm up tomorrow and Monday and then we
have another 'cold wave' coming in on Tuesday. I hope all this cold nonsense is
over by the time Alfredo and Michael get here!!!

Why I keep on telling AJ to stop worrying. About a year ago I wrote a blog on
Gateway eliminating smoking in apartments and on walkways and how there was no
way I could follow that rule or that they could enforce it. As things would
happen I stopped smoking the day of my operation and haven't smoked since so it
would have been a waste of time worrying!
I must admit, because of the weather, I didn't go out today except to get my
mail and see if anyone was on the breezeway. Dot and Auria were there but I
didn't stay as I was cold!!!
I did a few things around the place--well, I have to make some effort, since
Fredo and Mike will be staying here, or so I tell myself! Actually after reading
the paper and feeding the birds I sat down to read a manuscript that one of my
neighbors asked me to read and give him my opinion. It is a series of five short
stories that take place in the 1940s and a young Italian boy growing up in the
Bronx and New Jersey. After getting half way through I am not too impressed or
could it just be that I am jaded and have read these stories by many others even
having written a few like them myself? I, of course, will be give him positive
comments and, hopefully, constructive criticism.
Gino is coming over tomorrow and we are going to Clive's to get some bird
supplies and then he will come over and hang my new clock and connect my VHS
recorder to my TV. It should be warmer, at least a few degrees warmer,
tomorrow!!

I just might have to buy a pair of ear muffs--for the birds!!!
