Not Calm Enough for Yoga????

Emily in front of the Lifestyle Center of the Whole
Foods building.
There were more than twice the amount of people at tonight's
class of yoga, "Meditation and Relaxation", and 6 were men-could it be because
it was FREE--ah, that magic word.

Strangely enough I am too full of anxiety, too antsy, to sit
calmly and picture streams, waterfalls, forests while practicing the four
'purifications breaths with elements' while keeping my feet flat on the floor
and my hands on my knees facing up. For the 45 minutes of the class I was a
bundle of nerves and I just wanted to get up and walk out but felt obligated to
Jill and Emily to stay and not disrupt the session.

Surprisingly, to me, was that so far the class I have enjoyed
the most has been the  Tuesday 11:30-Noon exercise class on the breezeway at
Gateway. This morning there were about 15 people there but still Norman and I
were the only men--and not all the women were Spanish!!

Yoga will make you feel calmer, but it is not for everyone.
Women are more flexible than men.
So,go back to the Gateway class and just stick to one of them, till perfected.Really do not need all of this. One at a time.
Find the one that you like and stick to it.
