I have always been interested in writing and have done so most of my life starting as a preteen keeping a diary. I have written 8 books and one play (there is a possibility the play will be produced by a new theatre company here in Ft. Lauderdale)--have had articles and short stories published--6 of the books have been fiction based on fact. I am now writing 3 different books.
Though I know one mustn't pick a favorite 'child' my favorite book is The Free Prisoner--a factual fiction book (only the names have been changed LOL) it is about the first 18 years in my life dealing with my family, my coming out, cruising in NYC and making some decisions.
Cookbooks

When I was involved with Weight Watchers and when I opened my own company, Our Weigh, I started compiling, making, and testing recipes and had 4 cookbooks published. (An aside: all my food and kitchen costs were paid for by the company!)
We (my ex and I) started a publishing company called Weight Masters and the yellow book on the left was the first one published and did quite well. The other three I published under the Our Weigh trademark. All earned their costs back plus a few cents. :O)
I've also always been a big reader of all types of literature but sort of favor actors/actresses biographies. And I really enjoy reading plays.
Since last Thursday I have read: "Colleen Dewhurst: Her Autobiography"--if you are familiar with her (and you should be)she was most famous for her leads in Eugene O'Neil plays, starring in "Anne Of The green Gables" , playing Murphy Brown's mother among many other TV, play and movie appearances. I definitely recommend reading this book especially if you like to read about strong women with many insecurities. (By the way she was married to George C. Scott TWICE!!
"Diva: The Life and Death of Maria Callas" by her cousin Steven Linakis--they don't make divas like they use to!
"Choices" by Liv Ullman--not as good as her first book, "Changing".
"A Trace Of Read" by Edward Hannibal--an okay book when you have nothing else to read
"Drop Dead Beautiful" by Jackie Collins--sorry I love trashy books and Jackie knows how to write trash--this is another sequel centering around Lucky Santangelo--if you've read Jackie you know Lucky!!
Well, time to get back to reading and writing!
