I,
also, know that if I follow my diet I will, usually have a good weight
loss but I couldn't believe my eyes getting on the scale today.
On
February 23, the last days the boys were here, I weighed 196--I started
back immediately on my diet the next day and weighing in today, March
2, on the medical scale (which I always set to zero and make sure is
balanced) I weighed in at 187 and 3/4 pounds!!!! Yep, I checked it a
few times and it came up the same number each time!! Also weighed a few
other items and they allchecked out!!

The only conclusion I can come to is that the tooth I had pulled today must have weighed 5 pounds!!!

Does that mean I have to have another tooth pulled next week to get down to my second goal??? My first goal is/was 184 and the second 176. Ummm--at the rate of losing a tooth a week, or 8 and 1/4 pounds a week, I can be at goal in two weeks!!!

I
must admit the actually pulling of the tooth was fast and painless and
within an hour he had a replacement on my partial. I have to go back
next week toget the sutures out and, for the next couple of days, I
have to eat soft foods. Let's see--ice cream is soft, as is pasta and
cake--I might not make my second goal!!
I must say I have
a great dentist--I have been going to him for 30 years--aside from
being painless pulling the tooth he was also painless when it came to
paying the bill--he only charged me $153 for the extraction and the
replacement!!!
I am now home looking to see what I have soft around the place to eat--no ice cream!!!
By the way--the weatherman was right for a change--it was cold today!!
