This is the entrance to La Chima which leads into an open air patio for
happy hour.
The oldest banyan tree in Fort Lauderdale which is in the center of the patio.
We were greeted by
the hostess and led to our table where we met just a few of our servers. Upon
being seated the two extra settings were removed and replaced by many dishes of
different accompaniments such as cheese puffs,
tiny fried meatballs, 4 types of potatoes and other dishes.
The first is a scene of the kitchen from the patio
and the second from inside the dining room
The fireplace in the wall behind our table
THE IMPORTANT BUTTON: ONE SIDE SAYS ""No,
thank you" meaning you don't want any meat at this time and the other side says,
"Yes, please"--a couple of times Allen forgo to turn the button and they lined
up at the table--ummmm, maybe he planned that!
