opened up with rain, lightening and thunder at one point knocking out
the electricity briefly and then 35 minutes later it was over and the
sun was out again.
I
wasn't aware of how fast and furious the rain came down until I stepped
out to go to the breezeway--stepping outside my building it was up to
my ankles.
Granted it is nowhere as bad as it is in Manila but this is one of the worst floodings I have seen at Gateway since I have lived here. I had to walk barefoot in order to walk through the water on the sidewalks.
Now
at 7:20 PM you aren't able to tell that it even rained!! (And I hate
that every day it is getting dark earlier--I want DST all year round!!
