Randy, I am in tears after reading this. My youngest son lives four doors up from me and cherishes his Mother, thank goodness. If you could read some of his posts on Facebook you would understand. My oldest son lives in Idaho and we talk frequently and I was out there for a week in October. I cannot imagine not being in touch with my two boys. My heart cries for you and your son. Maybe he will realize one day what he is missing.
I would give the world if I had my Mother here so I could stay with her. This time of the year it is very hard. Be strong. She needs you.

This is very important information. About two years ago I woke up at 2:00 o'clock in the morning with that feeling in my throat and pain going down my right arm. I immediately took two aspirin, my blood pressure readings were normal. I called the doctor the next day and he put me in the hospital immediately to run tests and do an angioplasty. No blockage, don't know what caused it but I am on about 5 preventive medicines that I take every day and feel ok. Do not EVER ignore warning signs. Listen to your body!
Brownies from a mix are really good. I would never eat cranberry sauce until I made my own and it is really good. I always add orange jest to mine and just a splash of merlot. Yumm!

Randy, our government has done this type of behavior for years. Before I met my husband he was on a classified mission to Thailand and Viet Nam laying communication lines in 1958. Our government knew then we were going to get deeply involved but denied it.

Our wooded lot next to my house is overcome with Wisteria in the spring. When you walk out my front door that is all you can smell....it is just spectacular.

Wow! I love this post. I own an original painting also...one of Jondude's. I used to be able to stand on my head but not any more. I hope I NEVER have to wear trifocals....bifocals are bad enough.
