Finally a nice and warm sunny days here in New Hampshire.
It will be a fun filled weekend for leaf peepers.
The colors are great.
At home the leaves are falling, which tell us sooner of later we need to rake. This I am not going to do hopefully after our holiday.

This is our lovely school house.
Mike is entering in his second week of retirement.

image Here he is with Buffy .
He has been keeping himself busy.
Today I made a Cranberry Pumpkin Bread this is my first.
Have not taste it yet .Will do it later as this is going to be for our guest tomorrow night and want to take a taste test to be sure if it is okay.LOL
This is very easy to make and will post this on my blog if anyone interesting in seeing or trying this out.
We are overwhelm with lady bugs.
This happens when the weather get warm and they come around.
But soon the night appear they are gone, far gone.
Have a great weekend and enjoy the view out there.
The colors are gorgeous.

I never saw the top photo of your church in Guatemala before- not this view. Beautiful! I love your schoolhouse. What a great place to live.

They are little flying creatures that came over from Asia... they look like they are wearing armor which is kinda funny, and they are harmless to humans (and they don't scare me as much as spiders) so it's ok. The only problem is that you can't stomp on them or kill them near your house, because they emit an odor that brings zillions of them around... and we already have millions of em on our screens and windows and some are even inside already...

I'd take lady bugs over stink bugs!
What a nice house and such pretty views...

The schoolhouse is lovely. We have little fall color because of the
drought. Hi Ho off to the physical therapist we go this morning.

It's already time to rake here, although I'll use the tractor to blow most of them into the pasture behind the property. Actually looking forward to spending time outside. But it's been warm and humid and wet for days and days. Maybe by next week it will be cool and dry, which I like just fine for working weather! Have a good weekend!

Such a nice looking house. Was the part with the steeple the original school, and then the rest was added on?
comment by troutbend on Oct 5, 2012 2:08 PM ()
Yes,the steeple is original and they had a school bell. The last owner took the bell with them.
We try to buy it or get it but no luck. The sad part is they are gone and have new owners.
On section of the house as you cannot see this as this is the back of the house.
I have been meaning to post on this, but did not get around to it.
It was a one room school house and then added on the other side.
School was discontinued in the year of 1955.
Many of the teachers here lived near by.
Though they are all gone and many pupils have stopped by now and then.
Lot of them from out of state.
