I Don't Care:what Do You Think of This.

While getting caught up on the local news and came across this interesting letter or not about the feelings of this person.
A lot has be said about the health care.
How many people are calling this a joke so to speak.
But he did make a point. If they do not want it and then I don't care I have mine. They cannot afford it well a lot to be said about this.
While traveling in Mexico and on a tour bus and many tourist were asking about the life span of people.
At that time he said that some are lucky to live till they are fifty.
Whoa!that is young.
Then we talk about the health care of the Mexican and people who do not have insurance.I ask what happened to them.
The guide says,if they do not have insurance then let them die.
another Whoa!!!!that is how the government work there at that time.
This was in the early or later eighties.
So do you care or not?I have my insurance and why not cannot they come up with theirs.Yes,I know that they are a lot of people out there hurting.
Got laid off from work etc.
My question is:how do you feel about this and what should be done for so many uninsured people out there.
He said:I am free, live free or Am I/

I don't care if other people get poor health care. If they can't afford it, let them die, or suffer - they can get it in the end, but not early enough to treat them effectively - and that suits me fine. I also do not think that I should pay for anyone other than myself, because I can afford it. Those who cannot should get what they deserve: no care.

I can support this based on the Constitution: It does not state that they should get health care (or Social Security, or Medicare, or Medicaid), and I am free not to care for others or about others - especially blacks, Latinos, and poor whites, who are all in the minority - and that is what I mean by freedom.

I also do not care that health care experts - like those at the socialist World Health Organization - rate this country as 37th on the list of countries with effective, good health care. The nations above us are all socialist with a few dozen exceptions. Russia and China are worse than us, which shows that capitalism is better than communism.

I don't care. I am a Tea Party Republican. Those who do not agree with me are either left-wing, college-educated, PhD graduates and smart elitists, doctors who care for and about all patients, or people who believe that everyone's religion or not having one is equal. Or they do care. Let them also suffer, or die. I only care about myself. I live free. I am free.

Am I?

Anyone who feels that way is selfish, inhumane, uncaring, utterly lacking compassion, repulsive, nauseating....

Your so right and yes this is very selfish and still have not heard any feed back on this.
Soon I am sure.

Garth Orsmond may live "free" long enough to need care. Then we'll see what he asks for and expects. Those who serve themselves and do not care about others may live long enough to need others one day. Let's all hope this happens to Mr. Orsmond, a despicable sort. Tea Party? They should dump the tea and drink the Koolaid.

Unless he is living in a shack in the wilderness off the grid, this goofball is not living free - he is benefitting from government services in one form or another. Maybe he has his health care situation under control probably because his employer is footing the bill, but he is not living free.
comment by troutbend on Apr 3, 2012 8:31 AM ()
No he is not living free.He may think so.Waiting for the feedback on this and by tomorrow we should hear something.

He is ridiculous. Bill Clinton pointed out last night that George Washington
required every able bodied man to own a rifle so there is a precedent for
government mandated health care. The Supreme Court is packed with
Republicans. I can only hope that they do the right thing. This man will never be a happy person if he is that selfish.

He is very selfish in life.I hope that Obama works this out and lets get rid of the Republican.
reply by fredo on Apr 3, 2012 9:48 AM ()
And mark my words, the Supreme Court will strike down the new health care plan. We'll be right back to where we started. Shameful.

As a 'smart elitist,' college graduate and leftist I must reply. A single-payer health care insurance system is the only way it will work. It is also the only way anyone with an ounce of heart and compassion would want the country to go. It is also the only way we will avoid further class warfare and an eventual second revolution. The writer is not only selfish and without an ounce of compassion for his fellow Americans, but he is a spoiled fool.

yes, that he is.Can wait for the feedback on this.I am sure he will be lambasted for this.
wonder if this guy is serious or not
reply by fredo on Apr 2, 2012 4:06 PM ()
Actually, he is not living as free as he thinks. Even omitting the coldness of not caring for others, his medical costs are higher because those of us with insurance are helping to fund/subsidize the uninsureed. Hospitals are required to treat the uninsured whether they can pay for it or not. The hospital has to break at least even so they charge higher prices for their other services so that the rest of us and our insurance companies pay for the uninsured.

I am repulsed by his attitude about being able to let others die because they are less fortunate in the economic arena. He could be in their position very easily.

Good comment there AJ.Yes I am sure that he will get a lot of feedback on this.
Not sure how serious that he is.If he is well do not care for this person.
What is he aiming for?was he being for real. Will wait the follow up on this.
I am sure that he will get back lash on this.
