Buenas Tardes

It has been a lovely rainy day and enjoyed it.
The lawn is coming back to life and the garden are happily satisfied.
Trying to finished up by zucchini squash.
This morning made to with blueberries.
After visiting Mike mom at the assistance living and spend some time with here and she is looking good for a ninety two year woman.
Then I thought to my self and not thinking to bring some of my bread to the assistance living place. This would have been nice for their coffee hour.
The next time we visit and yes will bring it.
I have four left and will finished them off soon.
Now I have to get serious and start making pesto again and freeze them for our fall and winter stash.
Will do this tomorrow and finished it up.
This is my busy time.
Did I tell you enjoyed baking and making pesto anything to keep my self busy than sitting down watching TV etc.
The rain let up some and we managed to get out to do some antique shopping.
Yesterday we took a motor trip to the ocean and spend some time there.
We love going there and Buffy also.
I know this is no big news but something to write about.
Have not heard from anyone today except laura.
Have a great afternoon.
Chicken tender tonight.
That's All Folks.

hi fredo -- working through my many unread posts -- am impressed with your diligence. I don't spend more time in the kitchen than I can manage. It's the rare occasion when I jump up and down and say I must cook something because it's fun. And yet, I am a talented cook when I want to be. It's just I'd rather be doing something else. I even baked bread a while back. Got tired of that.

I am sure that there will time of me being tired of that.

I made your pesto recipe the other day, and today stirred it up with diced cooked potatoes and fresh tomatoes for a salad.

How did this work out for you.Today I try the pine nuts not bad but not as woodsy as walnut and still have more batches to do.Then will pass them on for those who will like it.
Maybe have a pesto fest and surely most of this will be gone.We used to do this but stop a while back way back.

Jeremy is right. I put some rosemary, basil and garlic in my jar of
imported olive oil and I am letting it set for a month like Mike told me.
Maybe I will still have a tomato to drizzle it on by then. I am going to do
your pesto today.

Let me know how you make out.today I made another batch this time and the first time I try it with Pine nut or Pinola. There is a difference as walnut like I said gives it a woodsy taste.
