So after being told I had the position in jewelry, they changed their minds. They came up with a lame excuse. Here is what it really boils down to. Walmart is trying to have 95% of their employees be part time. That way they don't pay out with the whole benefit package. They are even eliminating full time positions that have been there forever. I don't mind losing the position but the least they could do is tell it to me straight! I was quite content to be a cashier, it was my friend who wanted me to move to her department.
So I went in today feeling kind of sorry for myself. I was looking forward to the pay raise and more hours. But I worked with one of my buddies today and he did not let me stay depressed. He picked on me all day, even pointing out strange customers. We were super busy and the day flew by. It's nice to be home with my family now and just relax.
Kota's poison ivy is still hanging on! It is mostly gone, and has stopped spreading. I am hoping he can go to school tomorrow. I might take him in myself and check with the nurse. I sure don't want a phone call at work telling me to come pick him up. Someone told me that once you have showered after getting poison ivy you can no longer spread it to another person. I don't know if that's true, but none of us have gotten it.
I work tomorrow. They have changed my schedule again! I swear I never have the same schedule 2 weeks in a row. Which makes me very tired and never knowing if I am coming or going. LOL
I am thinking of getting my hair cut, like short. I am tired of dealing with the crazy curls and I am thinking of shoulder length. It would definitely be easier to control. I am also thinking of going lighter with my hair color. Not blonde but lighter than it is. I know this oh so fascinating and you all are sitting on the edge of your seat!
