My son and his fiance are now walmart employees. They started with orientation this week. He will be in lawn and garden and she will be a cashier. Right now we are sharing one car as his jeep is in the shop. This morning they had to be at work at 7! Hubby took them while I was working on getting kota up and ready for school. Today is also my last day as a cashier and will start in jewelry tomorrow. And I just realized this will probably be one of the busiest weekends for jewelry!
My daughter took me out yesterday to pick out my Mother's Day present. She gave me some suggestions, a new outfit, an mp3 player (as mine broke) or some plants for outside. I chose the mp3 player. I have been lost without my portable music. She also treated me to coffee and donuts at dunkin donuts.
I am really nervous about this department switch for me. But that's me, nervous about everything. The only differnce now is that I actually push myself to try new things and I don't just talk myself out of it.
I tried taking pics yesterday of my yard and the lovely blooming things I have. Yeah, my digital camera decided to die finally. It's been a long slow death for my poor camera. I have had it about 5 years. So that goes on the list of things I would like to get. There are also these mushroom garden statues at walmart that I just think are so adorable. They are big though, and I am thinking they would be cute on my porch with a plant on them.
That's the latest news from my end. Not alot going on here. The weather has been nice, except for the last 5 days of rain! Today it's sunny of course, I have to work. We had thunderstorms on my 2 days off this week. One of these days I will get to work on my tan!
