I had a schedule change at work. I will have wednesday and thursday off every week. But to get to that point I have to work 7 days in a row! I am really tired and a bit cranky from the schedule. I am learning lots of new things and I think moving to jewelry was the best move I could make.
Last night after dinner, I sat on the porch with Kota. We talked and watered my ferns hanging on the porch. It was our time together. I make time for him even with this crazy schedule. I think he has been missing me lately as when I went to bed, he crawled in beside me. I just let him sleep there.
I will post more when I get a chance. I have a topic I want to cover and need your help on.
It's raining here again and it's just so peaceful and calm. The countdown is on until wednesday, 3 more days until I get my 'weekend'. Monday night I close by myself but I am ready for it. I work with some really good people, they are hard workers but also like to have fun. They tease me alot, which I told them is good. Otherwise I would think they didn't like me. One day I tore one of the sliding doors of the showcase off. They told me to stop eating Wheaties for breakfast!
Hubby is just getting over an ear infection. Poor guy, had it really bad this time but immediately went to the doctor about it. My older son checks in with me at work on his breaks. It's nice to have family working at the same place. My fellow cashiers make a point to come visit as well.
All in all, I am in a happy place.
