Something
must have been in the air today because some strange things were going
on for sure! Let's start at the beginning,shall we?
I
woke up and could not move my head, the right side of neck was in
serious pain! I spent the night have crazy, scary, extremely vivid and
in color dreams. Hubby later told me I woke him up once. He said he
thought I had jumped out of bed but I was only tossing and turning.
Hmmm, perhaps that's when I injured my neck. A hot shower did not touch
the pain and the motrin only eased the pain a small bit. Oh well, off
to work I went where I caused many chuckles by not being able to turn
my head, or forgetting to not turn it and yelling out in pain. On my
first break I visited the ladies room. Bear with me, it's not gross. I
was belting up my pants when I heard a man's voice. I thought maybe it
was a maintenance guy come to clean the bathroom. But he made no
announcement, he was just talking on his phone. Strange and scary! So I
stepped out of the stall and as I walked past the other stalls,the
first one had it's door open with a man peeing talking on his phone. I
was trying to not burst into laughter and marched up to the CSM's desk.
They were all there and I said, THERE'S A MAN IN THE LADIES ROOM PEEING
WITH THE DOOR OPEN!!!!! Once they stopped laughing they all went and
stood by the ladies room to inform him he was in the wrong place. I
don't think he really cared. Yeah, one more thing for them all to tease
me about. I mean did he not notice the lack of urinals????
I
get home from work and I am greeted by Kota. Who decided to trim his
hair today. He said it was hanging in his eyes. So he now has a bald
patch right in front. I swear there must have been something in the
air, cuz I saw alot of strange things today.
I
did make an apology today to a new guy at work. See he took my buddy's
slot after he got fired and I would not even say hello to him. Today he
was going around seeing if cashiers needed a box of bags. He is very
polite and considerate. I told him I had already gotten my own box when
I came in, that I was used to just getting my own. He told me next time
just call him as the boxes are very heavy. When I went on break later
he held the door for me and told me I really needed my coat while
outside. I explained to him my reluctance at being nice to him and that
I was really out of line for acting that way. It wasn't his fault, he
needed a job and they hired him. He thanked me for my honesty and said
now we could just start over and be friends.
Now
I am going to put some icy hot on my neck and go lay down. I am off
tomorrow thank God! One more thing, my doc hadn't called in my
prescription refills that I asked for on Thursday. The pharmacist gave
me a 5 day supply, gave me at no charge. This is not a nationally owned
chain, it's an independent small town pharmacy. The pharmacist knows
everyone by their first name and knows their kids names too. Kind of
cool, huh?
