I had an awesome day off! Today it was all about me! I finally spent money on myself. Not things for the house or bills! We are caught up on bills and I had been putting a little back each payday. So today I got two new pair of pants, size 10 thank you very much. A pretty blue sweater that was half off! The pants were 75% off. We have this cool store here, Peebles. I love their clothes! I knew this time of year they would have all the winter stuff on clearance. I also was checking out the new spring fashions, such pretty colors! I could have gone hog wild in there. lol
Then tonight we went to walmart where I got necessities, socks and underwear. hehehe As we walked in the door my little friend Erin saw us. She yelled over to us and told kota to come get his hug. They met each other half way. I call her my little friend because she is only an inch or two taller than Kota.
We also went to visit my inlaws, which is always nice. I had a cup of coffee and chatted with mom and dad. Stormy visited with her dog who is a psycho. Man, I forget how crazy those first two years of a dog's life are. I was slobberfied by the time we left. He is going to be a big dog! But he is such a baby, very gentle. He talks too. I swear soon we will be able to make out what he is saying. He is the most vocal dog I have ever known. He doesn't just bark, he has all kinds of sounds he makes and it really sounds like he is talking. He has gorgeous light brown eyes, almost a golden color. The SPCA said he is part australian cattle dog. He definitely likes to herd Kota!
Stormy had a rough day job hunting. I am hoping something comes through for her soon. Kota finally gave her a big hug today. I told him he gives the best hugs and it would make her feel better.
Tomorrow is work but at least I have a couple new outfits to wear!
