Well we had two days of that nasty sticky heat. It is now pleasant again. I really am not a fan of high humidity. I did as little as possible during the heat and would sit on the porch in the evening to catch that nice breeze. But even with the heat our house still stayed nice. No air conditioning and we are doing quite well. There have only been two nights that I have not slept with a blanket on!
I checked my work schedule thursday and almost had a heart attack. I have sunday off! Which is really cool because we have a bbq to go to. Ok, its a VFW barbecue but there will be good food. I am a life member of the auxillary but I never go to meetings. hehe
I had a bit of paranoia hit me yesterday morning, bad enough that I was up at 5 am unable to sleep. It was work related of course. I waited a couple hours and called my friend who works with me. She explained to me what was going on and that it had nothing to do with me. She understood why I got so upset though, what with that woman trying to sabotage everyone. I just need to remain calm, do my job and not worry so much.
Not only do I have sunday off but also wednesday, thursday and friday. And our state fair starts on thursday!!!! So we will be going both nights probably to get our fill of junk food and let kota go on some rides. I am sure we will go other days as well. That is the only nice thing about my hours being cut, I can have some family time now.
Overall, life is going smoothly right now. If I can keep my emotions in check it will continue that way. LOL I hope you all have a great weekend.
