Well it was bound to happen, I have kota's cold. Thankfully not as bad as he had it. I am just at that stage where my head feels funny, my nose is running. But it's off to work. Must be there for all those silly super bowl party people. Yesterday it was crazy! And all those good snacks people were buying was making me hungry! I had two ladies toward the end of my shift who were so silly and happy. I was commenting on their snack choice and what time I should be at their house. lol Then I informed them I don't watch the Super Bowl. I know, blasphemy! I told them my party will be around Feb 15th when Nascar starts up again! I might have to request Sundays off!
Hubby drove me to work yesterday so he could have the car. It was so nice to not have to walk a mile to get to my car. Plus Kota came with him and went with me to punch out. I had one guy ask if this was our newest associate. I said yes, he is the official toy tester.
I had one of those customers yesterday. The kind I just shake my head at. I had my light off so I could take my lunch. I had a couple people get in my line after it was off, but they didn't have many items. The one lady said, did you know your light is off. I did laugh. I couldn't help it. I told her yes, I am trying to go to lunch. It might not seem funny to you, it's a cashier thing.
One of the cart pushers yelled at me for not having my coat on when I went outside for break. This is a different one then John and Jacob. I told him he could give me his coat while I was on break. I did end up buying a light hoodie on my lunch break, it was pretty cold in the store. Or it was just me getting this cold.
Hubby fixed a delicious dinner last night. Beef stroganoff! I am thankful I have a good cook for a husband. We trade off with the cooking. He mainly cooks on weekends when I am at work.
