And I couldn't be happier! My sister in law K called earlier, she wanted to drop off her tax stuff for me. I told her anytime was fine as I was not leaving the house due to being sick. She asked if I needed tissues or anything. I have plenty of puffs thankfully. So when she showed up she had the bestest surprise for me. She brought pepper the beagle!!! It was great to see her again and she loved sniffing all over the house. We cuddled on the couch and I sang to her like I used to do all the time. K said she thought seeing Pepper would make me feel better. She was so right! She is still as silly as ever and just the most loveable pup ever!
I took Kota to tae kwon do last night. Of course everyone had to ask why I was not taking class. When I said I was sick every one of them backed away from me. It was too funny. Kota had a blast of course and still remembered his form and defense moves.
Kota has a birthday this month and I want to do a party for him with friends. I just can't decide which way to go. We have an ice skating rink that does parties, or the roller rink. I refuse the bowling alley. We went to a party there and I had the worse migraine after it was all over. I would like to do one at the ice rink, mainly so I could ice skate again! lol Growing up in Pennsylvania we had our own private ponds for skating. It was the best! We would pretend to be olympic figure skaters. The lakes and ponds just don't freeze over here in Delaware. So I will probably break my neck going ice skating. Or my butt! I guess I could check if our tae kwon do place does birthday parties. That would be fun and might get other kids to sign up.
